The Front and Rear

This spacious Georgian town house overlooks the cobbled, tree-lined thoroughfare of Kirkgate, part of the conservation area of Cockermouth. Following it’s renovation and refurbishment in 2001, it is light and airy with unusual features in all the rooms adding to its charm and character. We hope that visitors will feel comfortable and at home within its walls.

Visitors also have access to the small, well maintained patio at the rear of the property. there is also off-street parking available for one car on the cobbled area at the front of the house (please not that due to this being a conservation area the cobbles may not be suitable for all vehicles).

Downstairs

The kitchen leads off from a spacious, functional dining room and the comfortable lounge is reached across the original tiled hall and features a coal effect gas fire and television with a DVD player.

Upstairs

The master bedroom has two single beds, a fitted wardrobe, and a dressing table area. The decoration is on classic lines and the original cast iron fireplace is still a feature of the room. The side bedroom has a single bed and the room is decorated in fresh colours with contrasting furnishings. The double bedroom at the rear of the property has a low ceiling and an interesting window. Its floral decoration echoes a cottage garden. The warm and welcoming bathroom is well appointed and has a shower over the bath.
