The rooms are light and airy, and this holiday home also benefits from many modern conveniences, including wifi, giving it warmth and a family home feel.

37 Kirkgate and Cockermouth are located in the West of Cumbria, bordering the Lake District National Park. There are many local attractions in this historic market town, such as Wordsworth House (the birth place of William and Dorothy Wordsworth), award winning restaurants and numerous independent shops, and the West Coast of Cumbria is easily accessible by car or public transport, as are the quiet Western fells of the Lake District and the lakes of Bassenthwaite, Crummock, Buttermere and Loweswater.

37 Kirkgate is the ideal base for exploring the North Western Lake District while enjoying the comfort and warmth of this friendly Georgian town.

On the day of arrival ;access to the property is from 4pm. Should arrival be earlier guests may leave their car earlier in the afternoon outside the property and walk down into town until 4pm.

On the day of departure guests must evacuate the property by 9.30 am. The guests’ car may remain outside the property until 12 noon, allowing a final walk around town if desired.
